An overuse / cumulative / repetitive strain injury is as a result of repetitive movements to the same area of the body which has not been prepared to be put under that amount of stress. Overuse injuries can occur whilst playing sport or as an occupational injury, affecting the bones, tendons, muscles and nerves. Some of the signs and symptoms of overuse injuries are:
