Learning difficulties are when a person experiences problems with learning normal and everyday activities. The difficulty may result in an imperfect ability to listen, think, speak, read, write or spell. Learning difficulties can be primary or may be secondary to another illness an individual may be suffering. People with learning difficulties may benefit from physiotherapy as our physiotherapists can provide a treatment plan which is easier to understand for someone who suffers with learning difficulties. Our Physiotherapists will conduct easily understandable programmes which work towards reaching an individual’s goals relating to any physiological problems they may have. Physiotherapy will aim to make it easier for someone to carry out their ‘normal’ daily tasks.
